Gas barbeques can last between 5 and 15 years with good care and maintenance. You can extend the lifespan of your gas grill by ensuring that it is thoroughly cleaned and covered after each use. A good barbeque cover will protect them from the elements if you are not storing them away for the autumn and winter.

How much gas you will need depends on how many burners your barbeque has. If you have an average-sized BBQ with 1-3 burners, then a 5kg gas bottle will be fine. If you’ve got a larger appliance with four or more burners, it’s recommended that you buy at least a 13kg bottle.

Propane Patio Gas which is stored in green cylinders is the ideal choice for outdoor appliances such as barbecues. Propane has a boiling temperature of -42ºc, so is suitable for use all year round, especially if you intend to use your BBQ or appliance in colder temperatures.
